3D modelling of the mechanical behaviour of magnetic forming systems

چکیده

High-speed forming methods become attractive in manufacturing and significantly reduce the cost energy requirements. Electromagnetic is a high-velocity pulse technique that applies electromagnetic forces to sheet or tubular workpieces using pulsed magnetic field. In order understand physical behaviours of materials, numerical modeling highly desired. Therefore, this study, we investigate mechanical behaviour stamping tube expansion compression systems. For these 3D simulations, COMSOL multiphysics software used. It provides possibility model aspects problem along with thermal coupled method. The developed fully models lead analyze transient fields, Lorentz acting on workpieces, plastic deformations obtained several effects systems parameters are also investigated such as coil’s form number its turns.
